On 3/4/2014 Interfax Agency reported from the media office of the Russian Federal Security Bureau (FSB) stating, “The regional court of the city of Stavropol has sentenced a member belonging to the international terrorist organization Hizb ut Tahrir with the charge of planning attacks on the Maiskii festivities in 2013 in Stavropol. Abdul Kareem Tushmutov, who is a resident from Tajikistan, was convicted under the two Articles 205 and 30 from the first section of the Criminal Code. (For charges of terrorism, and involvement in the carrying out of crimes of terrorist nature or helping the perpetrators). He was sentenced to 17 years with hard labor, in addition to a fine of 55 thousand rubles”.
On Monday 10th March, Reuters, the BBC and other media outlets reported that dozens of children in the Tharparkar area of Pakistan’s Sindh province have died in the past few months due to malnutrition and other illnesses resulting from a severe drought that has caused a famine. Local media put the death toll of children in the region over the last 3 months at around 140. The drought is estimated to have affected 900,000 people with thousands suffering from malnutrition. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif travelled to the area on Monday, pledging $10 million in aid and mouthing the empty promise, “The people will soon be able to return to their homes and prosperity will come to these areas.”

Press Release in response to the report by CNN Arabic: On 25/2/2014 CE, CNN Arabic reported that the butcher Bashar, during his meeting with the leaders of the Baath Party in the capital Damascus without mentioning the date of the meeting, as saying: "The resilience of Damascus during a three-year crisis experienced by the country "was instrumental in the" steadfastness of Syria" and that the city "differs from the world’s capitals and is unique in preserving the Islamic and Christian heritage together," and added that the Baath Party has become stronger after the defections, and he considered it a "healthy state". He described it as "self-cleansed" and saw that the Baath Party is playing a key role in the "intellectual battle" inside the country, pointing out that the current crisis "produced hotbeds of extremism, and at the same time rejected the political Islam".

A reporter with the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) travelling with Rwandan soldiers said the convoy carrying the refugees came under attack from anti-balaka militia, who used guns, bow and arrows, machetes, rocks and swords.”
The Continued Butchering of Rohingya Muslim Women and Children Re-enforces the Urgent Need for the Khilafah to Protect Them
Press Release: On the 16th January, Al-Jazeera, Associated Press and other media reported on statements from a witness and the Arakan Project rights group that documents abuses against the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar that more than a dozen Rohingya women and children were killed in the village of Du Char Yar Tan in the western Rakhine state on Tuesday 14th January. According to these reports, the Muslim women and children were hacked to death by a Buddhist mob, with many more Rohingya also feared dead. This incident is only the tip of the iceberg of the unspeakable brutality and slaughter that Rohingya Muslim women and children have been subject to at the hands of Rakhine Buddhists and Myanmar security forces as part of their organized mass ethnic cleansing of Muslims from the region. This includes the notorious Yan Thei massacre where over 70 Rohingya were murdered in cold blood, including 28 children.
