Only the Khilafah Can Protect the Precious Lives of the Children of Sindh!

On Monday 10th March, Reuters, the BBC and other media outlets reported that dozens of children in the Tharparkar area of Pakistan’s Sindh province have died in the past few months due to malnutrition and other illnesses resulting from a severe drought that has caused a famine. Local media put the death toll of children in the region over the last 3 months at around 140. The drought is estimated to have affected 900,000 people with thousands suffering from malnutrition. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif travelled to the area on Monday, pledging $10 million in aid and mouthing the empty promise, “The people will soon be able to return to their homes and prosperity will come to these areas.”

Press Release in response to the report by CNN Arabic: On 25/2/2014 CE, CNN Arabic reported that the butcher Bashar, during his meeting with the leaders of the Baath Party in the capital Damascus without mentioning the date of the meeting, as saying: "The resilience of Damascus during a three-year crisis experienced by the country "was instrumental in the" steadfastness of Syria" and that the city "differs from the world’s capitals and is unique in preserving the Islamic and Christian heritage together," and added that the Baath Party has become stronger after the defections, and he considered it a "healthy state". He described it as "self-cleansed" and saw that the Baath Party is playing a key role in the "intellectual battle" inside the country, pointing out that the current crisis "produced hotbeds of extremism, and at the same time rejected the political Islam".

Press Release: BBC website reported yesterday, Monday 17/02/2014 that “African troops under the auspices of the International Support Mission for Central African Republic (MISCA) have evacuated 2,000 Muslims fleeing sectarian violence in the Central African Republic (CAR) to neighbouring Cameroon. A reporter with the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) travelling with Rwandan soldiers said the convoy carrying the refugees came under attack from anti-balaka militia, who used guns, bow and arrows, machetes, rocks and swords.”

The Continued Butchering of Rohingya Muslim Women and Children Re-enforces the Urgent Need for the Khilafah to Protect Them

Press Release: On the 16th January, Al-Jazeera, Associated Press and other media reported on statements from a witness and the Arakan Project rights group that documents abuses against the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar that more than a dozen Rohingya women and children were killed in the village of Du Char Yar Tan in the western Rakhine state on Tuesday 14th January. According to these reports, the Muslim women and children were hacked to death by a Buddhist mob, with many more Rohingya also feared dead. This incident is only the tip of the iceberg of the unspeakable brutality and slaughter that Rohingya Muslim women and children have been subject to at the hands of Rakhine Buddhists and Myanmar security forces as part of their organized mass ethnic cleansing of Muslims from the region. This includes the notorious Yan Thei massacre where over 70 Rohingya were murdered in cold blood, including 28 children.

Declaration of the Muslim Brotherhood a Terrorist Organization by the Interim Government is an Attempt to Terrorize All Those Confronting the Coup Authority

Press Release: On Wednesday 25/12/2013, Al Beblawi government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a "terrorist organization". The declaration comes a day after 16 people were killed in a bombing targeting the security directorate building in Dakahlia Province, north of the country. The announcement was made despite the absence of any evidence of a link of the Muslim Brotherhood group to the blasting, and despite the fact that a group called "Ansar Bayt al Maqdis" has claimed responsibility for the bombing!
